Housing Vermont

Asset Management

The Housing Vermont Asset Management Department works closely with local partners, managing agents and investors to continually monitor the health and compliance of our projects through a well formed process consisting of the following steps:

  • Analysis of the development budget
  • Directing the transition from development to property management
  • Oversight of lease-up
  • Quarterly operational oversight; comprised of financial, managerial and compliance review
  • And a minimum of one on-site physical and file inspection of the entire portfolio annually

Housing Vermont is able to set attainable goals and forecast the health of a property for its lifecycle. This constant oversight and positive interaction with our managing agents also helps the process of identifying and alleviating potential issues before they become a financial burden on the property.

In addition to our oversight of the operational performance of each individual property, Housing Vermont is constantly analyzing portfolio trends. These trends help us keep expenses in check and forecast market changes regionally.
