Robert Gensburg Scholarship Fund

Residents of housing affiliated with Housing Vermont are eligible for a renewable annual scholarship of up to $2,500. Scholarships are available for both degreed and non-degreed programs as well as for those interested in taking classes that lead to certifications.

The funds can be used for a wide range of expenses including tuition, material and books, childcare, transportation, or other expenses related to enrolling in a program.

Are you eligible to apply?

To be eligible a student must reside in a Housing Vermont-affiliated apartment or be the child of a parent or guardian who resides in Housing Vermont-affiliated apartment and demonstrate financial need, education achievement/work ethic and community service.

How to apply

Applications for the Robert Gensburg Scholarship are made through the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC). Applications and general scholarship information for the 2019-2020 academic year are currently available within the VSAC scholarship booklet which is available here. You may also request a printed copy by contacting VSAC at publications@vsac.org or (802) 654-3770.

Please thoroughly read the application instructions within the VSAC Scholarship Booklet and refer to the Robert Gensburg Scholarship information on page 13 for required documents.

We strongly recommend that applicants begin the process as early as possible to ensure that all of your submissions are complete by February 12, 2020.
